Running late again, but this time it’s public transportation’s fault. Been at the bus stop nearly half an hour and still no bus. But that’s okay, because Ragnarok’s back.
Ragnarok Online. It’s like a cross between Final Fantasy Tactics, Everquest, and Precious Moments. It’s a silly, adorable little MMORPG from somewhere in Asia (Korea, I’m fairly certain) and it was a major time sink for Natalie and I back doring the Korean Beta. They went under for a while, but now they’re back with an official intenational beta and lots of new stuff and improvements. I’ve been looking for a lighthearted MMORPG to spend time on after RO went down last year, but the main contender, Shining Lore, seems to be dead (and after they got me all excited about supposedly getting into their closed beta). Now that RO’s back, though, I’ve a feeling I’ll be spending a serious chunk of time there again, especially since the open beta’s completely free, you just need to download the client and open up an account. If you’ve got a connection that won’t blow up by downloading a 570MB client, give it a go yourself and look for me, my nick’s Katsushiro.
