Well, my ear’s finally stopped trying to explode, and the pain’s almost completely gone. I still can’t hear very well out of it, but overall I’m gonna go ahead and call this an improvement. And the lack of pain lets me appreciate the little things in life, like the SciFi convention that’s coming up on the 18th.

Just found out about it today, and allready I’m fairly psyched. It’s at a real location (Pier 7 in Old San Juan), and while the guest star isn’t the very best (I would have preferred, say, Captain Picard, over the guy who played Boba Fett in Episode 5) I don’t care ’cause it’s an actual SciFi Con! The last one I went to was easily 10 years ago, a mostly Star Trek-themed affair where the guest of honor was the guy who played the ‘cute’ borg who befreinds the crew of the Enterprise in that one episode. It was held in the lobby at some fairly crap hitel or other, and I enjoyed every second. Can hardly wait for this one. Here’s hoping I can convince Natalie to go with me. o.O;
