The Mars rovers as teenage girls… with blogs.
So, yeah, I suppose meta-blogging (blogging about blogs) is so passe it’s not even funny, but I can’t not share this with the world. I suppose you allready know about the twin Mars rovers, up on the red planet, grinding away at rocks and looking for water (which they found, by the way!)
Well, those rambunctioous rovers have their own blogs, on Livejournal.com. But that’s not even the fun part. The fun part is that the blogs are written as if the rovers were a pair of teenage sisters! Opportunity’s blog shows her to be a peppy, happy, slightly snobbish teenage girl, and it’s colored in pinks and reds, while Spirit’s blog has more of a gothic vibe, with sad poems about the rocks on mars and black and grey colors on the design. They’re abolsutely hilarious to read, and they serve a dual purpose by keeping you up to date on what’s going on up there… Great fun.

SAD POEM OF ME
No one knows what i am facing
Its like rushing in a an full fledged racing
With no one besides you
Its like you have to have a own self motto
No one is there to help me
there all there to keep an eye on me
on whatever i do is like bomb on the
and it triggers them and they say it shouldnt bother me
cause if it did will be another bomb on me
so all i have to do is like swallow it
till i get out of here but still a long one that it will be
so i get everyday in the morning
and think its another day when that i will see
all the people where i go will be mocking me
in whatever way they can and it all should be
alrite the other day that i am thinking you see
cause thats what i get for not being smart u see
as i am no smart ass nor i am physically like arnorld
i am more like a fat ass that u always see
and make fun of laugh it out and go but have u ever seen
what it feels like to be on the other side and may be then u will see
that up there is someone up there watching that will always be
taking care of me and looking upon my ass u see
cause he is the only keeping me from killing the
