White House Consorting with Fundie X-tians to determine Middle East policy?
An article in the Village Voice details how high-ranking White House staffers, and the National Security Council’s top Middle East aide are meeting with fundamentalist, rapture-type christian leaders behind closed doors. These are people who have a very clear idea of what should be going on in the Middle East, especially in Israel, to bring about their vision of the Rapture and other biblical/apocaliptic events, and are more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure things happen like it says in the bible. And these are the folks our leaders are consulting with before making their Middle East decisions. Read it, and be horrified.
