About the LAN Party podcast…
I tried, I did try, but, to be frank, it sucked. Maybe if I’d been at one of those huge massive LAN parties with dozens of players, but this one was fairly small, and really didn’t make for an interesting show. Still, it was pretty fun, and I’ll be going on about it on tonight’s show, so keep an ear out for it. Got a few other things too, including a follow-up to the Steve Jackson e23 stuff, and a couple of other things. It’ll be up tonight for you guys. ![]()

Fairly small??? You call a 15-people LAN Party “fairly small”? What, were you expecting to cover a Cybergames event or something? Come on, you can find a better excuse for not doing the cast than it being a “fairly small” LAN Party. ;-P

Allright, allright, so it wasn’t that small.. but still not big enough to make for a really interesting show. Besides, i like to tape in privacy. I can’t even stand to have Natalie in the room with me when i tape the shows, so having 14 other geeks around wasn’t the best way to inspire to start taping.
Still, I had loads of fun.
I’m working on the podcast, it’s taking me longer than I hoped… got a bit of podblock again…

Eldrin not a geek? What are you taking about, you’re a card carrying geek. You have a Cisco certification, you’re operating system of choice is Linux, you have the need to show off not only your Pocket PC to everyone, but the Palm you got for your fiance as well.
Congratulations Eldrin, you’re one of us now.
