You know, I just finished listening to the latest Theory of Everything podcast, the Easter Sunday edition, and it’s basically a bunch of first-person accounts of the crucifixion told by Mary of Magdalene, Peter, one of the Centurions, Pontius Pilate, and John, during which the whole sordid tale is shown: the back-room payoffs, the bribing, the body switching, the drunkenness, the scheming and plotting.. absolutely sacre-liscious! Between this and that, I think I’ve done all the easter-ing I need.

That’s actually based on one of the wilder theories surrounding the whole Passion thing, and–if memory serves me right–it’s best explained by the two authors of the controversial books about the Holy Grail (which is not that golden cup used in the Last Supper, but, rather, the continued family line which descends from Jesus). Sort of far-fetched in a conspiracy-theory kind of way, but also terribly *intriguing* in a conspiracy-theory kind of way. ^__-
