Technorati fucks up a good thing.
Hey, Technorati guys:
Whoever designed that new box thingy that you rolled out today needs to be taken out back and shot. You’ll notice I no longer have a visible Technorati link on the page: that’s because Technorati rolled out a new site design today, and as part of it, they changed the tiny little Technorati logo box for a big honkin’ wide ad thing that totlally broke the layout on the site. I went in to see if I could reconfigure it to something smaller, but even the most minimal configuration is wider than the sidebars permit. And my sidebars are a pretty standard size: you’ll notice that both the Flickr and TextAmerica picture boxes fit perfectly into a sidebar.
So, Technorati guys, I love your service and all, but until you put out something that’s an actual reasonable size, no Technorati link on my page, sorry.
UPDATE: Technorati’s gone and fixed it and brought back the old, simple, non-fugly, non-blog breaking linky. Thanks for listening, Technorati guys.
