GBA SP and the X-ROM 512 Flash Cartridge
Well, the X-Rom 512 Flash Cartridge arrived last night and I spent a couple of hours setting it up, transferring some ROMs over, and playing around with it. Good stuff. It took a bit of finagling on my part, but the computer took the drivers, accepted the Flash Linker, and then I put the Cartridge into the GBA, plugged in the Flash Linker, and hoped for the best.
It works surprisingly well once the initial config is done, with ROM insertion being simple drag-and-drop. The program even auto-patches games if they need it so they can write their Saves to the cartridge.

Hehe.. and I’m currently in the process of acquiring a fairly *massive* collection of ROMs.. we’re talking in the thousands here.

… yeah, I know… But somehow, I still manage to sleep well at night.
… besides, you know that out of those thousands, the vast majority are going to be ‘Mary Kate and Ashley’s Pretty Ponies Prancing 4′.
